Dam Short Film Festival

Founded in 2003, the Annual Dam Short Film Festival is the primary function of the Dam Short Film Society. Believing that the short film is a unique and valuable art form, the Dam Short Film Society seek out original, unusual, and entertaining short films from around the world to present during the festival, which takes place each February in historic Boulder City, home of the Hoover Dam. The festival screens 120+ films (live-action, documentary and animation) all 40 minutes or under in length throughout three to four days in the historic 400-seat Boulder Theatre. Festivalgoers may also attend a variety of parties, meet and greets, and panels.
