Candy Dance Arts & Crafts Faire

The annual Candy Dance Arts & Crafts Faire features more than 300 vendors featuring quality arts, crafts, and delicious homemade candy and food. The Candy Dance tradition started in 1919 when the community's women sold homemade candy and served midnight supper during a dance at the Town Hall, raising funds for the purchase and maintenance of Genoa's streetlights. Today the event raises a substantial portion of the town's annual budget, and the famous "Candy Dance" is an outdoor event on Saturday night, featuring live music, dancing and dinner.
