Beatty Museum & Historical Society

The mission of the Beatty Museum and Historical Society is to preserve and protect the culture and history of Beatty, Nevada, the Bullfrog Mining District, and the surrounding Nye County mining districts. The museum houses over 10,000 artifacts, 3,000 historic images, an extensive collection of research files, including a small non-lending library. Research materials are open to museum visitors free of charge with a limited selection available through their online database. Additionally, the Beatty Museum is a frequent sponsor of traveling visual arts exhibitions through the Nevada Touring Initiative – Traveling Exhibition Program.
