Wild Horse Children’s Theater is looking for actors, singers and dancers, ages 5 to 18, for our December, 2017 production of the musical HONK!, JR., a modern retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story of “The Ugly Duckling”.
Dia de los Muertos Celebration is an outdoor cultural community event presented by the City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs and Parks & Recreation Department. The event will take place at the Sammy Davis Jr.
It is time again for the Virgin Valley Artists Association Invitational Exhibition at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery. This exhibition includes art organizations throughout Nevada and Utah. The exhibition runs September 4 (we do not close for the Labor Day Holiday) through September 30, 2017.
The Residency Partnership Program supports professional ensembles and presenters in building audiences for small ensemble music through residency projects. The program funds activities that take place in community settings and that are not part of a regular concert series.

Description of class: Learn about Atelier Acrylics with demonstrator Tricia Leonard, as she demonstrates how Atelier Acrylics can be rewet and reworked after drying. Students will also learn how to use acrylics as watercolor as well as in an oil paint capacity.

Receive one-on-one guidance in an intimate social setting for all levels. Transform a master painting into your own masterpiece! Bring your own beverages/snacks and friends, leave with a 16″ x 20″ acrylic painting. Featured painting is Klimt’s “Tree of Life”.
Capture the great outdoors through sketching and drawing. The class will meet in a different location each week. The first class will meet at the Arts for All Nevada Art Studio and then walk down the hill to sketch the landscape along the river.

For ages 6-10. This camp is held from 9am-Noon, Monday – Friday.
Anyone can learn how to draw by recognizing simple shapes and building upon them. Explore the techniques of line equality, hatching, and shading. For ages 10-15. Four week session, total of 4 classes held on Tuesdays in the Art Studio.
