How to Post

Posting an Event

Events are approved by Arts4Nevada staff, and may take up to one week to appear on the website. Please ensure adequate time for this approval process before your event takes place.

  • Click one of the add event links from the homepage (under Calendar > Add or the “Submit a new Event” link at the bottom of the homepage) or go directly to arts4nevada.org/events/create.
  • The submission page consists of a list of tabs on the left hand side, with fields you must fill appearing on the left hand side. As you complete each set of fields, click the next tab down on the left hand side.
  • Select your organization from the drop-down list. If you have not yet added your organization, you will not be able to post on Arts4Nevada. Click the link to register your organization or go directly to arts4nevada.org/organizations/create.
  • Click the Event Info tab and complete the fields that appear. Please click the “Edit Summary” link and provide a brief summary of your event in addition to the full description. This will provide a clear explanation of your event when it is displayed in lists alongside other events.
  • Click the Date Range tab. If your event only takes place once, you only need to complete the initial Date/Time fields that appear. If your event is recurring or spans a longer time frame, enter the start date in the Date/Time fields and then click the Repeat checkbox. Additional date fields will appear, allowing you to set which days of the week the event occurs on and an end date. Additional showtimes can be added below the date fields.
  • Click the Event Image tab. Please provide the highest resolution image available.
  • Click the Contact Information tab and complete the fields.
  • Click the Venue tab and provide the address this event will take place. If the Venue has a name (theaters, parks, etc.) please provide that in the Location Name field. Otherwise, please leave that field blank and start with the Street field.
  • If your event will have ticket sales, click the Ticketing link and provide information on the price and where site visitors can purchase tickets.
  • Click the Your Information tab. Provide your information in the new fields shown. This information will not be posted with your event, and are used only in the event that Arts4Nevada needs to contact you regarding your event.
  • Click Save. You will receive an email letting you know when your event has been approved with a link to the approved event.

Submitting an organization

Organizations are approved by Arts4Nevada staff, and may take up to one week to appear on the website. Please ensure adequate time for this approval process.

  • Click one of the add organization links from the menubar (under Directories > Add) or go directly to arts4nevada.org/organizations/create.
  • The submission page consists of a list of tabs on the left hand side, with fields you must fill appearing on the left hand side. As you complete each set of fields, click the next tab down on the left hand side.
  • Click the Basic Information tab and complete the fields that appear. Please click the “Edit Summary” link and provide a brief summary of your organization in addition to the full description. This will provide a clear explanation of your organization when it is displayed in lists alongside other organizations.
  • Click the Address tab and provide your organization’s address. If your office has a name (theaters, parks, etc.) please provide that in the Location Name field. Otherwise, please leave that field blank and start with the Street field.
  • Click the Logo tab. Please provide the highest resolution image available.
  • Click the Contact Information tab and complete the fields.
  • Click the Category Consideration tab. Organizations will be approved to post events on Arts4Nevada but may not be included in the directory listings. These fields will help our staff to categorize your organization for potential inclusion in the directory listings. If you would like to be listed in our directory in addition to posting events, please complete these fields.
  • Click the Your Information tab. Provide your information in the new fields shown. This information will not be posted with your organization, and are used only in the event that Arts4Nevada needs to contact you regarding your organization.
  • Click Save. You will receive an email letting you know when your organization has been approved with a link to the approved organization page.

Posting an Marketplace Entry

Opportunities are approved by Arts4Nevada staff, and may take up to one week to appear on the website. Please ensure adequate time for this approval process.

  • Click the add opportunity link from the homepage (under Opportunities > Add) or go directly to arts4nevada.org/opportunities/create.
  • The submission page consists of a list of tabs on the left hand side, with fields you must fill appearing on the left hand side. As you complete each set of fields, click the next tab down on the left hand side.
  • On the Basic Info tab, complete the fields that appear. Please click the “Edit Summary” link and provide a brief summary of your opportunity in addition to the full description. This will provide a clear explanation of your opportunity when it is displayed in lists alongside other opportunities.
  • Click the Registration/Deadline tab. This is not necessarily the date of the opportunity. For example, if your opportunity is an audition for a play you might list the specific date of the audition, but if your opportunity is a class you would put the registration due by date in this field instead.
  • Click the Attachments + Image tab. Please provide the highest resolution image available. If you have a PDF version of a form that must be completed in relation to your opportunity, please provide that here.
  • Click the Contact Information tab and complete the fields.
  • Click the Address tab and provide the address this opportunity will take place. Only the City/State are required, but opportunities such as classes, workshops, or auditions may have a location associated with them. If the location has a name (theaters, parks, etc.) please provide that in the Location Name field. Otherwise, please leave that field blank and start with the Street field.
  • Click the Your Information tab. Provide your information in the new fields shown. This information will not be posted with your event, and is used only in the event that Arts4Nevada needs to contact you regarding your opportunity.
  • Click Save. You will receive an email letting you know when your opportunity has been approved with a link to the approved opportunity page.

Creating an Artist Profile

Artist profiles are approved by Arts4Nevada staff, and may take up to one week to appear on the website. Please ensure adequate time for this approval process.

  • Login or create an account on the site. Click here to do so
  • Click one of the add artist profile links from the menu bar (under Directories > Add) or click here
  • The submission page consists of a list of tabs appearing on the left hand side, with fields you must fill in. As you complete each set of fields, click the next tab down on the left hand side.
  • Click the Basic Information tab and complete the fields that appear. Fields that are required are marked with a red asterisk.
  • Click the Location tab and provide your city and state.
  • Click the Photo tab. This is for a photograph of yourself. Please provide the highest resolution image available. We strongly encourage you to include a photograph to enhance your profile.
  • Click the Biography tab and complete the fields. Please provide information about your background, experience, specialties, past exhibits, grants, awards, etc.
  • Click the Contact Information tab and complete the fields.
  • Click the Work Samples tab. If desired, please upload a few images that illustrate your work. Please provide the highest resolution image available.
  • Click Save. You will receive an email letting you know when your profile has been approved with a link to the artist profile page.
