Viewpoints From Duckwater: A Collection of Contemporary Art by Native American Artist Jack Malotte
Jack Malotte is a member of the South Fork Band of the Western Shoshone Te-Moak Tribe; he grew up in the Reno Sparks Indian Colony and currently lives in Duckwater, Nevada. Malotte is a graduate of the College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California and uses drawing, painting, and printmaking to convey his feelings about the "Indian connection with the earth, sky, and the landscape of his ancestors, and how this connection manifests spiritually, physically, and politically.
