Celebrate Arts and Humanities Month by attending a Candidates’ Forum! Election Day - November 2 - is fast approaching. It is critical that candidates running for Nevada’s local, state and national offices hear from supporters of our arts education community and arts and creative industries.

Televised Debate: Senatorial Candidates - Sharron Angle (R) & Harry Reid (D)

Both candidates for Governor and for Senator have agreed to the debate questions being formulated by television and radio news directors. Some stations have already asked if they can open up questions being submitted by their viewers and listeners. The more questions submitted to the Nevada Broadcasters Association, the more consensus on what questions will be asked.

More than 20 candidates are confirmed for this casual event at the Orozko Lounge in John Ascuaga's Nugget. No speeches or fundraising - just food, drinks, and conversations. This event is free for Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce Members, and $5 for non-members. RSVP here.
