Election 2010
Welcome to ELECTION 2010. This site is designed to assist Nevada's electorate in making informed decisions about the future leaders of our state and country on November 2 - choices that will determine Nevada’s path to recovery. More than 100 candidates vying for Nevada’s state and national offices received an Arts Survey.
"We invited candidates for public office—incumbent and challenger alike - to share their views on public funding for the arts and the value of the arts for educational, economic and community revitalization, and cultural tourism," noted Tim Jones, NAC Board Chair.
"We strongly encourage colleagues across the state to ask your local candidates to take the survey. And please don’t forget to send the candidates a quick summary about the value of your organization and/or programs."
ELECTION 2010 continues to provide updated information for the informed voter. Please acquaint yourself with the survey, and check (and plan to attend) the candidate forum schedule. During the week of September 27, you'll find daily additions to the survey results and candidate profile/position statements, so check back often!
