UNLV Marjorie Barrick Museum Calendar/Events
Founded in 1969, the Marjorie Barrick Museum at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is dedicated to promoting a better understanding of life — past and present — in the American Southwest, Mesoamerica and their environs through the acquisition, maintenance and interpretation of collections, as well as through exhibitions, research, programs, and publications. By fostering academic research, creating educational programs, and through community engagement, the Museum strives to promote an appreciation of the rich heritage and diverse cultures of these regions, as well as an awareness of our place along a historical continuum of cultural exchange and environmental adaptation.
