The historic building once known as the Riverside Hotel, standing in the very place where the city of Reno began in 1859, celebrates the ten year anniversary of its conversion into the Riverside Artist Lofts this month. Loft residents will host an event to commemorate the anniversary October 29th and 30th.

The event, which kicks off at 12:00PM on Friday, October 29th, will feature an exhibition of resident artwork in the Sierra Arts Gallery on the ground floor, live performances from musicians living in the lofts, and an opportunity for people to explore the building and see the lofts first hand. Visitors to the lofts will get to see the spaces in which the artists both live and work, as well as an opportunity to discuss their craft with them.
