Boogie Down for Hunger with Little Feat

Feets get movin'.  Mark your calendar to be a part of the Food Bank Boogie Down For Hunger concert starring Little Feat on Friday, July 9, 2010.  The spectacular Hawkins Amphitheater at Bartley Ranch will be the setting for this can't miss show of the summer. Little Feat has rocked audiences for over 30 years and promises concert goers a chance to Boogie Down for Hunger. If you'd like to see more on the band, check out http://www.littlefeat.com/.     

Come hungry - we'll have some of the finest local restaurants serving great food.   Great Basin Brewing Company will be pouring some of their award winning beers and root beer.  Food vendors will include Emerald City Café and Qdoba Mexican Grill. 

This concert is a benefit for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.  You can take part in a great concert and help your local community at the same time.

Tickets are available at Recycled Records, Maytan Music Center or by calling the Food Bank at 775-331-3663, ext. 118. General Admission seats are $24 and lawn seats are available for $18.     The gates open at 5:00 and the music begins at 7:30 p.m. on  July 9.

Boogie Down for Hunger with Little Feat during the month of July is part of the 15th annual Artown festival, July 2010.  The month-long summer arts festival features more than 400 events produced by more than 100 cultural organizations and businesses in locations citywide, with major funding provided by the City of Reno.
