The Reno Jazz Orchestra – the region’s leader in providing jazz education opportunities of the highest caliber for area students - presents a day-long celebration of jazz education in our community. The outdoor event features clinics (2-3pm), free student performances (3-5:30), and a ticketed concert beginning at 6:30 as the Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra opens for RJO alongside special guest Kim Richmond, renowned composer/arranger and jazz faculty at USC (www.kimrichmond.com). All proceeds from the concert go towards supporting future RJO educational programs! Food and beverage on site.
