February 16^th - 4 pm –Poetry Out Loud District Finals and Reception Immediately Following

YTA will host its annual district competition for the Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest. The competition is part the national Poetry Out Loud program that encourages high school students to learn about great poetry through memorization, performance and competition. The winner will advance to the State competition in Reno. Open to the public and admission is free.
