Golden Gates and Moscow Nights

The company Golden Gates was founded in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1933, drawing upon students from the Author's Aesthetic Secondary School. The group began performing at various cultural events and folk festivals throughout Russia and Europe.  Now the performers range in age from five to fifteen and include Russian dancers as well as singers.  Today Golden Gates performs with Moscow Nights, an ensemble of incredible Russian folk musicians who have appeared previously at Winchester.
