Sonia Carlson began learning folk dances as a child growing up in Zhangzhou, China. From her aunt she learned the Tuan Shan, (fan dance), the Xin Jiang regional dance and Tai Ji forms. Those lessons sparked a lifelong interest in sharing Chinese culture through dance, music and the arts.

Born in Thailand, Supatra Chemprachum moved to Las Vegas in 1986. She learned folk and classical Thai dances and how to teach them from her mother, who was a well-known performer in Bangkok.
Shirley Chen brings both traditional, informal training and formal education to her dance artistry. As a student enrolled in the National Taiwan University of Arts, she toured the United States in 1981 with the Taiwan Chinese Classical Dance Group.

Arthur Bryce Chisholm is an artist born in Reno. He graduated from Earl Wooster High School and attended Truckee Meadows Community College. He furthered his education at the University of Nevada, Reno, under the guidance of Michael Sarich; this is when his art really began to grow.
After a 25-year career in graphic arts, Lisa Fields Clark shifted her focus toward fine arts, community outreach and arts facilitation. She holds a BS in Social Services/Business Management. Her primary focus in art is mixed media and mosaics, both contemporary and traditional.
Jason Robert Clark has been painting since the age of 10, working dilegently to become a professional artist. He is a member of the Arts 4 Nevada Association and was chosen to join the Raw Artists organization for Reno. Jason has exhibited his work in numerous art shows through Northern Nevada.
Sue Coleman is one of the preeminent Washo basket weavers in Nevada. Her ancestors, like many Washo people, moved between Lake Tahoe in the summers and the Dresslerville/Carson Valley area in the winters. Sue was raised on the Dresslerville reservation.
