As a cutting-edge fashion designer featured in leading magazines and newspapers such as: Vogue, Bazaar, W, Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, New York Times Magazine, Miami Herald, and the LA Times to mention a few, segueing into photography was a natural progression for Marcia Friedman's creative expression. From reality photography, such as in her book, CUBA: The Special Period, her photography evolved into a combination of photography and painting.
She has exhibited in galleries, museums, and foundations around the country. Some of her better-known corporate clients include: Wynn & Encore Hotels Las Vegas, Atlantis Resort/Bahamas, Princess Cruises, McGraw Hill Publishers. Her work has frequently been featured in major art magazines Art Business News and Décor, and she has been selected from artists from around the world to exhibit in the Biennale Internazionale Dell'Arte Contemporanea in Florence, Italy every exhibit since 2005.
